The Lake County Economic Development Center was established in 1985 to address economic growth in Lake County and an increased standard of living for its residents.The mission of the Center became one of promoting business retention and expansion first, followed by the attraction of new industry to our community.

The Center is a service of the Lake County Port Authority.

The meeting of the Lake County Port Authority will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 3 PM in the Board Room of the Lake County Port Authority. It is located in Victoria Place on the square in Painesville, Ohio.
